1. How to apply a demo account? How long can I use it for?

You can click "Open a demo account" on AETOS website and apply for one. AETOS demo account lasts for 14 days. You can feel free to either open a live account or operate another demo account in MT4 to practise trading.

2. How to open an account at AETOS? Which type of account shall I open?

No matter you are a new, experienced or professional trader, AETOS has multiple account types to suit for your trading requirements. Please refer to the accounts overview to find an account type fit for you.

3. I have operated a demo account, so how can I open a live account?

You can use your registered username to log into the AETOS official website. Then follow the instructions and fund to activate your live account.

4. What are the differences between standard accounts and mini accounts at AETOS?

Standard account is suitable for experienced investors.

  • Initial deposit: USD 2,000 and above
  • Highest leverage: 200:1
  • Minimum transaction: 0.1 lot of standard contract

Mini account is tailor-made for new traders and those trading in smaller volume in capital markets.

  • Initial deposit: USD 250 or above and below USD 2,000
  • Highest leverage: 400:1
  • Minimum transaction: 0.01 lot of standard contract
5. Is money safe if I trade with AETOS?

Clients' funds are generally deposited into a segregated bank account, where clients' funds are separated from the company's operating funds. We may also use client funds to hedge your transactions. If we use your funds in this way, they are no longer segregated and in the event of our insolvency or the insolvency of the hedging counterparty, you would rank as an unsecured creditor in relation to those funds. 6. How can I fund my account quickly ?

We recommend you to use wire transfer to fund your account.

7. In which banks shall I deposit?

AETOS accepts deposits from all recognized banks. If you are overseas, you need to confirm if your banks are able to process international wire transfers.

8. How do I know if my account has been activated or not ?

We will email you your account login details once your trade account is activated. You can use the login information to log into your account and trade.

9. How to process withdrawal?

Withdrawal process is very simple in AETOS. Please log into the AETOS website and submit your withdraw request. We will process your withdrawal within the same day.

10. Can I withdraw my money from or deposit to my friend’s bank account?

Third party deposit or payment is not allowed.

11. What are limit orders? Which types of limit orders are there?

A limit order is an instruction to buy or sell at a price specified by the client. The order will only be executed when the specified price is reached.

There are four types of limit orders: 

Buy Limit – to buy when the market price is equal to or lower than the specified price. 

Buy Stop – to buy when the market price is equal to or higher than the specified price.

Sell Limit – to sell when the market price is equal to or higher than the specified price.

Sell Stop – to sell when the market price is equal to or lower than the specified price.

12. What’s your MT4 Margin Call Policy?

Clients’ positions will be forced to close when the available margin is less than 50% (mini/standard account)or 80% (professional/institutional account). The position with the largest loss will be closed first. Meanwhile, a red warning message will show on the platform.
